A cooperation agreement (MOU) was signed, on the exchange of students and lecturers between the two schools, building joint training programs, research, academic exchanges, international conferences and competitions for students for students
Some notable activities from this joint collaboration include the international student exchange program and the “City project: Design and technology for sustainable development” in Macao. This is not only a new learning opportunity but also helps students expand their horizons and connect with the international environment. The project aims to bring students closer to community-based and practical projects, applying design thinking to solve the city’s remaining challenges, using modern technology solutions like AR/VR to promote the development of a sustainable city. This is where students from Macao and Ho Chi Minh City collaborate and share knowledge for one week.
The students had the opportunity to work on their sustainable projects under the guidance of USJ and UEH academic instructors. Not only with lectures, the students also had the chance to attend field work and observe the architecture and new technology that Macao has applied towards sustainability.
The exchange program in Macao not only gives UEH students the opportunity to discover more industry insights, but also helps them connect with the international environment and open up a global perspective on what the students aspire to.
