Branding is one of the most important factors in helping a business succeed in the marketplace. That’s why brand building is always a top priority, especially in the digital age, when it is more difficult and competitive than ever before.

To help young people understand this, SMD Club organized a talk show on Branding in the Digital Age with Associate Professor Dr. Ngo Viet Liem. The talk show gave participants a more comprehensive understanding of branding.

TALKSHOW – BRANDING IN DIGITAL AGE

Dr. Ngo Viet Liem is an Associate Professor of Marketing at the University of New South Wales (UNSW), one of Australia’s top eight universities. He is the Research Coordinator for the School of Marketing and teaches undergraduate and postgraduate courses in brand management, digital marketing, and advertising. He also leads a number of research projects focused on areas such as brand management, customer relationship management, mindfulness, empathy, business model innovation, and entrepreneurship.

With his extensive experience, Associate Professor Dr. Ngo Viet Liem shared valuable and interesting knowledge about “Building a brand in the digital age” with students majoring in Digital Communication – Multimedia Design. He not only helped students have a deeper insight and clearer thinking, but also helped them better understand the steps to build an effective communication strategy. Besides sharing, he also helped students solve problems before the constant changes of the advertising industry in the technology era.

As the world faces the non-stop development of the Communication industry, SMD Club believes that the sharing of Associate Professor Dr. Ngo Viet Liem in the Talkshow Branding in Digital Age will be really useful in the near future, helping students have a communication – marketing orientation, know what they are doing and what to do, as Steve Jobs once said: “Design is not just what it looks like and feels like. Design is how it works”

SMD Club would like to sincerely thank Associate Professor Dr. Ngo Viet Liem for taking the time to participate in the talkshow, meeting with the students. Although it was a short talk, it left not only knowledge, but also good impressions of each other. SMD Club hopes to see you again in the near future.
