In the current era of the fourth industrial revolution, major technology companies such as Google, Facebook, and Apple continue to invest in AR/VR/MR, affirming that these immersive experiences continue to evolve. The first specialized training program on “Application of augmented reality and virtual reality in design” at UEH has officially commenced in collaboration with the Pantheon Design and Technology Institute in Italy. This course will provide UEH students with a one-month study experience in Italy – the cradle of design, culture, art, and architecture. The target applicants include UEH students and alumni at all training levels as well as students from other schools interested in technology in design and art.
The course will focus on applying AR, VR, and MR technologies to design experiences and media videos, giving students the opportunity to access and use the latest technologies in the industry. Additionally, students will have the opportunity to become exchange students for one month in Italy, receiving certificates from two leading universities: the Pantheon Institute of Technology and Design and UEH.
The course fees will be supported up to 45% by UEH and the Pantheon Design and Technology Institute. UEH communication design experts have met with representatives of the Pantheon Design and Technology Institute to discuss joint programs between the two schools in the future, including a 2+1 Dual degree program, workshops, research, and student exchanges between the two sides.
This course will meet the demand for learning and using new technologies in design based on global trends. The registration deadline for batch 1 is April 15, 2023, and batch 2 is April 30, 2023.
The course will commence on August 1, 2023, and last for one month.
