Recently, faculty members of the School of Communication Design, under the University of Economics and Technology UEH, were honored to be invited to participate in various international workshops, opening up many cooperation opportunities in countries such as Malaysia, Portugal, New Zealand, and Australia in various fields such as ArtTech, Marketing, Design, etc.
Associate Professor Dr. Trinh Thuy Anh, along with Ms. Tran Le Quynh Anh and Ms. Hoang Thi Ai Nhan, participated in the Artech 2023 workshop: Special Session: International projects in digital media art from the perspective of UNESCO media and information literacy (MIL) cities in Portugal from November 28-30, 2023. This was a great opportunity for faculty members to exchange knowledge and connect with leading experts in the field of communication and digital art.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh Huyen and Ms. Duong Thi Thuy Trang attended the ANZMAC 2023 workshop organized by the Marketing Association of Australia and New Zealand, with the theme “Marketing for Good,” held from December 4-6, 2023, at the University of Otago, Dunedin, New Zealand. This was a prestigious forum for sharing academic and practical research in the field of marketing.
Ms. Vu Tuong Quyen went to Malaysia to participate in the workshop at the University Sains Malaysia (USM) with the theme ICSDG 2023: Nurturing Sustainability through Collaboration and Knowledge Exchange, promoting sustainable development through collaboration and knowledge exchange.
In October 2023, UEH signed an MOU with USM, marking an important step forward in the cooperation between the two universities. It is noteworthy that the University Sains Malaysia is currently ranked 137th in the world and 4th in Asia for sustainability according to The Impact Ranking, reflecting the strong commitment of the university to sustainable development.
In addition to teaching and training activities, SMD faculty members are also actively engaged in research and enhancing professional capabilities through connections with experts in the same field globally.
In the near future, not only faculty members but also the School are actively organizing international exchange programs for students in Malaysia, South Korea, Germany, etc.
