In 2024, the School of Communication Design under the University of Economics and Technology (CTD-UEH) offers UEH students an international student exchange program with Saint Joseph University (Macau) along with the City project: Design and Technology for Sustainable Development. This project is a unique collaboration between Saint Joseph University in Macau and the University of Economics in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. The aim of this project is to bring students closer to community-based and practical projects, applying design thinking to address the remaining challenges of the city, using modern technology solutions such as AR/VR to promote the development of a sustainable city.
Saint Joseph University Macau (USJ) is a European Union Alliance University ranked #7 among educational institutions in the China, Macau, Hong Kong region and in the top 30% globally for quality education (According to the Times Higher Education Impact Ranking 2023).
Especially, all academic degrees and certificates from Saint Joseph University are taught 100% in English and recognized by 3 different countries: China, Macau, and the European Union, creating the most comprehensive recognition for students studying at the university.
According to the agreement between Saint Joseph University and the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City, in March 2024, Saint Joseph University offers 20 slots for students of the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City to participate in an exchange program in Macau. Students participating in the program will be exempt from tuition fees and accommodation in Macau (about 600 USD) sponsored by USJ, students only need to pay for airfare and living expenses (about 500 USD).
